Commercial freezers are often used to hold food products used within the food industry. These freezers are available in assorted sizes to accommodate the different products companies sell. This type of freezer could be used in a restaurant setting to keep certain food products cold before use. It could also be used in a retail store setting to keep frozen foods from thawing out before they are purchased. One of the main attributes of a commercial freezer are the glass doors used to enclose the front. These doors are often made of heavy tempered glass to prevent them from cracking during use. They also allow the interior contents to be viewed without needing to open the freezer

Rugged Construction

Commercial freezers are generally made using a high grade steel. This rugged exterior provides extra protection against the hustle and bustle of carts and other objects that might otherwise cause damage. Not only is the exterior of a commercial freezer made of steel, but the interior shelves are often made of stainless steel as well. The steel shelving provides more stability for the items stored inside. Stainless steel is also easier to keep clean and resistant to the formation of bacteria.

Additional Features and Styles

The size and shape of Commercial freezers allow different items to be placed inside them. A narrow freezer could be designed as a stationary model to prevent it from tipping over. Larger capacity freezers often come with wheeled bases, making it easier to move them from one location to another. The interiors of these freezers will generally have LED lighting to help conserve energy as well as digital temperature controls. In addition to the standard types of upright freezers, there are also under counter freezers and benchtop freezers. The benchtop freezers are commonly used to showcase specific products such as the different flavored buckets found in an ice cream shop.
